Mike Michael Chief Administrator

Mike is an alumni of ACG (The American College of Greece) 03’ in CIS. Mike has been an active member of the sports community during college years and a track athlete during school and college years. Mike has now retired from active sports as he has been absorbed by the Internet as he say’s himself; Mike is the head administrator of luckyroom.com as he reviews and edits all upcoming pages and posts before they go online. His experience in WordPress content management systems and his sharp knowledge of .php and html make him a vital figure for the flawless operation of luckyroom.com. Mike does not contribute to the column of luckyroom.com but he hadles all administration related issues and he reviews all content for accuracy but mostly monitors and reviews the development of applications which editors, authors and contributors can easily post and modify upcoming stories. Mike lives in Cyprus and during his free time you will find him fidgeting around at wordpress.org.

John Trevors Chief Author

John is an alumni of the Greek University in Athens 04’ in Sports Journalism and an active or more accurately a fanatic poker player. John comes from a Greek mother and a British father which as he personally states makes him a deadly combo. He has worked for major Athenian newspapers during college years and has now settled in Cyprus and recently was recruited by Mike Michael to join the luckyroom.com team. John writes and posts stories related to online poker and poker games and he has promised to get the sports column up and running with an active contribution during 2010. You will find John playing at PokerStars at his free time as he tends to not leave behind a minute of his free time to either watch or railbird online poker games.

George Roberts Editor

George is an alumni of NTUA 01’, but as he states himself he never really thought much of himself ending up as an engineer when he graduated from college, which was the primary reason he never mixed up with what he studied actively. George is a so called English Cypriot as he comes from a Cypriot mother and an English father. George reports to have had a talent with blogging since early college years and had over the years experimented heavily with blogging in regards to poker games as he is a fanatical poker player and blackjack player. Over time he realized that he actually was quite talented with what he was doing as blogs were having increasing traffic which was the primary reason he decided to put all his eggs in one basket and combine his readers and traffic to one site which would offer the reader all he needed under one roof. After a meeting with Mike Michael they decided to join the powers of multiple blogs George was running and present one uniformed site, that would offer it all in one; this would mean more readers, more topics, more traffic and evidently a real online business that would eventually pay off the effort and the knowledge accumulated over the years.

Shay is a Kent University alumni in Finance class of 98’; after working for many years in the forex trading industry, Shay decided to diversify to financial journalism with a target in forex trading. Shay has joined us under a part time basis at this current point and contributes to the luckyroom.com news column with articles related to the worldwide economy at this current point. She is an excellent designer as you can see and we all love what she does. The concept used at luckyroom.com is a blend of concepts adopted by a number of older sites which we have shown Mira during the early development of luckyroom.com; Mira has managed to keep all the good elements from each and every one but at the same she has constructed them with her own touch therefore presenting a state of the art them which is fully functional and very light therefore helping loading speed and user experience.

Christian Zacharevski

Christian is a web application developer and a software engineer; he is a founding member of luckyroom.com as he takes care of all the issues the user cannot really see behind the scenes. Christian is an alumni of the Peoples University of Moscow 03’ and he lives permanently in Cyprus were he develops applications for websites. Christian is the man behind all the applications powering luckyroom.com and is the man in charge of all server issues. He has developed applications which have been uniformed on this wordpress application powering luckyroom.com which allow editors and contributors to easily upload pictures, stories, thumbnails and so much more with the click of the button.

Charalambos Giannakou – Columnist

Charalambos is a graduate of the Pantio University in Sports Journalism and has been producing sports and mainly football column analysis since 1999; he has joined our team to bring life to the Greek version of luckyroom.com which we anticipate to grow with the same success our main English speaking site has. Charalambos was raised in the northern supurbs of Athens but now lives with his wife in Cyprus were he contributes his comments and predictions to a number of respected sports journals in addition to his contribution to el.luckyroom.com
