More and more European and Asian countries are seeking ways to maximize their national income by applying law frames regarding legislation of online casino operations. Some of them, including France, will allow online gambling operations to non-domestic providers only in the case that the operators have made business to business agreements with already established offline casinos, while others, such as Italy, require the companies to hold a national gambling license in order to be legitimate to operate within country’s borders.
Major online gambling firms and online gambling software and processing providers that offer online casino and poker games are following the manual of instructions in order to proceed with long term relationships towards each countries law. Recent examples of include Gibraltar based Partygaming in France and Ladbrokes in Italy.
However, on the other side of the globe China is going all in after its recent war with Google as it has clearly stated that they will tolerate absolutely no foreign interference in their domestic online casino industry despite the fact that gambling is allowed in certain areas of the country along side with online gambling as long they are connected to the land based casinos.
Chinese officials responsible of monitoring internet traffic stated that they will increase blocking level of unwanted sites. The fact is that many well known, trustworthy and respected online gambling giants have approached the Chinese government in order to find a way to start legitimate operations in the country, but the only thing that they received was a solid denial of the officials to even talk about the potential entries.
China is accused for filtering the results that reach the average internet user blocking sometimes news or expressed opinions along side with online casinos or search engine results. The country is on open conflict with traditionally online gambling countries such as US and UK which are not allowed to infiltrate into a virgin online market presenting a high level of gambling patterns with an increasing level of disposal income among its citizens. Since their financial incline the Chinese have managed to become a monopolistic internet community as they have recently literally kicked out Google from their borders as more and more online operations are being relocated to Hong Kong due to the hostile military conditions of internet regulations. The countries representatives have managed to come on extremely bad terms with both the US and major European countries which are hosting online gaming operations within their borders.
