High Stakes Holdem: the new television show in 2011

The fact is that the TV shows for poker grow and multiply rapidly in recent years because of the worldwide popularity of the game. Nevertheless the cradle of world poker is still United States of America where the bigger poker shows prosper.
The Red Deck Productions therefore will present a new high stakes poker television show this year, which will be called High Stakes Hold’em. According to what reported by the producing team, some of the most successful online poker professionals such as ‘jungleman12’, ‘luckychewy’ and ‘djk123’ will participate in the show, but other than that no more details released.
The new show will be on TV screens by the end of March but there is still no information about which channel will broadcast it. It will be weekly and shall be composed of 15 parts, 13 of which will be poker cash games and two shows will broadcast the Atlantis All In Poker Series Main Event’s final table.
“The High Stakes Hold’em will be an entirely new experience for viewers and friends of poker”, said Eric Ulis , founder and CEO of Red Deck Productions . “The High Stakes Hold’em will be innovative and staggering”. Mr. Ulis did not however state how this show will differ from other TV series of poker cash games, but one thing is certain: the choice of players who will participate. A short list consists the following online poker pros: Daniel “djk123″ Kelly, Amit “Amak316″ Makhija, Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger, Melanie “Callisto” Weisner, Matt “mcmatto” Affleck and the player with the most profits last year on Full Tilt Poker, Daniel “jungleman12″ Cates.
Each episode will last an hour and commentator will be Mr. Tom Schneider, WSOP ‘Player of the Year’ for 2007.
