Intralot partners with NET Entertainment in Italy

According to Reuters, the Greek branch of Intralot which is the second biggest world provider in Lottery systems has already established a partnership with Swedish NET Entertainment which provides Online Casino Games in an effort to combine their forces and services to cater to the upcoming opening of the Italian Online Casino market. Intralot is a well established online games provider as they already offer online poker, sports betting and horse betting in Italy. Their partnership with NET Entertainment will result in enhanced offerings in terms of online casino games.
It is worth mentioning during the ongoing crisis many European counties are seeking ways to increase their income by online gambling. Lately, the majority of European countries have passed frame laws that force the online gambling companies to either acquire a domestic gambling license or to partner with existing national gambling firms. Intralot stated that: “Through this partnership Intralot will be among the first to offer online casino games in Italy, We believe that online casino in Italy will be a very lucrative market with high potential”.
