The official WSOP website has recently published a detailed press release regarding the new 2010 WSOP rules; there have been some minor changes regarding players who choose late registration as well as details for those who have registered but ultimately do not appear at the Rio Las Vegas. The most interesting and useful change noticed is the changes in regards to cellular phone usage at the area the event will be hosted.
The changes in regulations in relation to mobile phones and electronic devices change for players or spectators who carry smart phones (Iphone, Blackberry, Itouch and similar devices) which will now be allowed to carry their phones in the area of the events in the Rio Las Vegas. It is noteworthy that the change will surely help the flow of information through social networks which will in return help poker portals not attending personally to keep updated on all major happenings.
