National Heads Up Poker Championship

The sixth annual National Heads Up Poker Championship is heading for its final journey to the announcement of the lineup and the names of the 64 players to be deployed and add up to the elite poker scene. The NHUPC is a heads-up tournament with a series of knockout qualifiers among the 64 participants until two finalists remain. The two players then play a best-of-three series to determine the ultimate champion. The total prize money for the tournament closes at $1.5 million. The NUPHC will ‘run’ from the 5th to the 7th of March at the Caesars Palace Poker Tournament Room. NBC is responsible for transmitting the event with events that go on air 5 weeks after completion.
The list of names to take part in the television tournament consists of a number of poker legends and poker pros endorsing some of the most popular online poker rooms; amongst other the NHUPC will add up from names including Patrik Antonius (Full Tilt Poker), Doyle Brunson (Doyles Room), Johnny Chan (Full Tilt Poker), Annie Duke (UB Poker),Tom Durrrr (Full Tilt Poker), Chris Jesus Ferguson (Full Tilt Poker), Gus Hansen (Full Tilt Poker), Phil Hellmuth (UB Poker), Phil Ivey (Full Tilt Poker), Chris Money Maker (PokerStars), Daniel Negreanu (PokerStars), Greg Raymer(PokerStars) and other resprected high stakes poker pros.
