Premier League Betting Tips and Commentary

A couple of weeks ago Chelsea was 5 points ahead of the second placed team but the current data showed a crowned top as Chelsea and Manchester United hold the first spot with 28 points, Arsenal follows with 26 and Manchester City is fourth with 25 points. In regards to this we should also note Bolton’s excellent fifth spot with 22 points; another important conclusion is that after the first 14 match days Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton, Fulham and Aston Villa are struggling to find pace and a streak of winning results.
Aston Villa Vs Arsenal, 12:45 Villa Park – Saturday 27/11
The 15th match day begins with a derby between Aston Villa and Arsenal. Both teams will do whatever possible to ensure the victory as a positive result for Aston Villa will boost the team up to the 7th spot while Arsenal can climb above Chelsea and Man U to the top spot.
The last two games between The Villagers and the Gunners ended by draws (0-0, 2-2). This is a hard to predict game and our first betting choice will be the Under 2.5 goals followed by the draw.
Bolton Vs Blackpool, 15:00 Reebok Stadium – Saturday 27/11
Bolton and Blackpool are two teams that perform above expectations as Bolton is currently at fifth spot while the recently promoted Blackpool is on 12th. This seems as an evenly matched game as both teams performed almost the same on home and away games.
The draw will be our betting pick to this game as most likely Bolton and Blackpool will cancel each other.
Everton Vs West Brom, 15:00 Goodison Park, Saturday 27/11
Everton is lying dangerously close to the relegation zone and the win against West Brom will be the only desirable result. On the other hand, West Brom belongs to a group of teams which features West Ham, Wolves and Wigan that will battle to avoid relegation. There is no other result than the home win on this fixture.
Fulham Vs Birmingham, 15:00 Craven Cottage, Saturday 27/11
Fulham is performing below par this year and unless they improved soon they will be in a lot of troubles. On the other hand, Birmingham will try to achieve another victory after the triumph over Chelsea while the draw should also be considered as a “good” result. Most likely we will watch a close game so the Under 2.5 goals bet will be our betting pick for this one.
Manchester United Vs Blackburn, 15:00 Old Trafford, Saturday 27/11
Manchester United seems that is back on the winning track as the players realized that in order to win must run and play as best as possible. The combination of Rooney and Hernandez seems that is working while all the players have increased their efforts. We cannot see beyond a home victory on this one. Manchester United counts 6 consecutive victories over Blackburn while the last time the visitors won was back at 2005 (1-2).
Stoke Vs Manchester City, 15:00 Britannia Stadium, Saturday 27/11
Very few people would expect Stoke to be in the 8th spot after 14 games but the team is performing quite well mainly because of the good home results (4-1-2). On the other hand, Manchester City seems that has not the strength to battle for something better than the fourth spot. It seems that this game will end as a draw (0-0 or 1-1 max).
West Ham Vs Wigan, 15:00 Boleyn Ground, Saturday 27/11
This is a game between two relegation candidates and perhaps the last card of West Ham before give up the battle. West Ham is currently at the bottom of Premier League standings with 9 points while Wigan is on 18th spot with 14. The draw will not help either so most likely the hosts will risk in order to win this one. However, the safer bet should be the 12 Double Chance bet.
Wolves Vs Sunderland, 15:00 Molineux, Saturday 27/11
Wolves share the same fate as West Ham and despite the good home record 2-2-3 most likely they will not be able to win the game against Sunderland. We should note here however that last year managed to secure a home win by 2-1. However, most likely this year the game will end with a draw.
Newcastle Vs Chelsea, 13:30 St. James’ Park, Sunday 28/11
This should be a very interesting game given the current from of the teams as both they are coming to this game after away defeats. Of course Chelsea has the upper hand on this fixture but Newcastle is performing some times beyond expectations. The first betting pick should be – of course – Chelsea’s win while given the odds the 1X double chance will provide sufficient cover.
Tottenham Vs Liverpool, 16:00 White Hart Lane, Sunday 28/11
Tottenham shouldn’t experience match trouble against this Liverpool although on derbies any outcome is possible. However, Liverpool is still looking for stability and they are not so good away from home. Our betting tip for this one is the home win.
