Team PokerStars Online

PokerStars officials spent several hours over the last two months sniffing talents at the poker tables which will populate Team PokerStars Online – essentially an offshoot of Team PokerStars Pro. After looking in to a total of 2000 total inquiries, PokerStars chose the 23 original members of Team PokerStars Online. The group consists of players from many countries in the world, with 18 countries represented and selected by a wide range of games and levels at PokerStars. The diversity of this new team means that players at PokerStars are likely to face someone from PokerStars Pro Team in any game they decide to join. There are long term plans for adding new players to the team during 2010, along with some additional improvements to the PokerStars lobby to make it easier to discover and play with the biggest names online. The complete set of Team PokerStars Pro contains of course some of the biggest names in poker, and includes six WSOP Main Event champions amongst them Chris Maneimaker (2003), Greg Raymer (2004) and Peter Eastgate (2008).
