The Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure begins today

The series of tournaments designated as the mother of all the Pokerstars tournaments will be held at Atlantis Resort and Casino in the exotic Bahamas. The Main Event starts tomorrow with a $ 10,300 buy in. The tournament will last a total of 6 days and The PCA program includes, inter alia, a high roller event, a heads up tournament and an event specifically for the female audience. The tournament will take place over a period of only 10 days. This year’s festival will be held from 4 to 14 January 2010, the PCA is the event that any poker player worth his salt should miss, with hundreds of classified members of Team PokerStars and PokerStars Pro from the European Poker Tour, the Latin America Poker Tour and the Asia Pacific Poker Tour. The PCA is the largest live poker tournament outside the U.S. and one of the largest jackpots in the world. The winner of last year, Poorya Nazari, won his seat through PokerStars, took home a total of $3,000,000.
The Main Event will be held from 5 to 11 January. There will also be a full program of parallel events, like the high roller, regular tournaments with a variety of different poker games, in addition to favorites such as the battleship popular events. All the action takes place in the idyllic surroundings of the Atlantis Resort & Casino, Paradise Island, Bahamas.
