After a total of 5 bids the $5,000 NL Holdem WSOP event bracelet won by TJ Cloutier in Las Vegas in 2005 was sold for $4,006 on ebay; It is only fair to say that the real value of a WSOP Bracelet cannot be determined; the facts are that the particular bracelet, containing 96 grams of 14 carat gold and 0.25 carats in diamonds is estimated to cost about $2,350 if a buyer would order it to be made by a jewellery craftsman. WSOP bracelets primarily have a sentimental value and it is only sad to say that they can end up on auction on ebay as they carry a heavy history; it is even more important and sad to say that its original owner TJ Cloutier presented his bracelet for sale to an auction firm which in turn placed the bracelet for sale on the popular auction site. The 71 year old professional poker player and craps fanatic ranked amongst the most popular poker players in history as he has cashed more than $9 million during his poker playing career. Cloutier is said to have been an excellent poker player with a bad craps playing habit that has shrank his bankroll and eventually brought his financial downturn over the years.
