WSOP – Poker Tournament of Champions

Poker fans from all over the world had a chance to cast a supporting vote to their favorite poker player who will participate to the Tournament of Champions WSOP event. The voting just ended and we have got the top 20 players according to poker fans. The voting was a great success as 355.081 people voted for the favorite poker player. Most popular one was no other than Phil Ivey with 16,276 votes while just 28 votes behind is Daniel “Kidpoker” Negreanu. The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 27th but this is not the final list as the tournament directors will contact each qualifier in order to check his availability. If a player cannot attend the game then the next one in standings will take his place. The game is of course a No Limit Texas Holdem and the tournament will last for two days. All the players that will be still in the game they will play the final game at Sunday 4th of July for the $1.000.000 prize pool. The winner will get $500,000 while the second one $250,000 and the third $100,000. All the other players in spots 4th to 9th will get $35,000 each. The tournament will be broadcast by ESPN network at August 3 on a 2 hours show!
