WSOP Side Bets

Side bets made during the World Series of Poker perhaps exceed the prizepool gathered from all events hosted at poker’s most prestigious land based poker tournament and this year is no exception as Full Tilt Poker Pro; Phil Ivey has already warmed the atmosphere with a side bet coming up to a total of $5 million dollars.
According to the odds if Phil Ivey manages to win 2 bracelets in the coming two years; fellow Full Tilt Poker Pro, Howard Lederer will pay him $5 million U.S. dollars. Otherwise Ivey will pay the same amount to his fellow Pro at Full Tilt. Ivey is expected to play about 80 events in the World Series of Poker during the next two years and he believes that the chances for a bracelet are more than 1 in 40.
